Horsefair Surgery Open Day

Tuesday 22nd August between 8.30am & 6.00pm

Following a CQC re-inspection in May, the subsequent media coverage and the resignation of the Partners, our Patient Participation Group felt it would be a good opportunity to give patients of Horsefair a chance to pop in and find out what is actually happening with their surgery.

This is your opportunity to ask any questions, raise any concerns and dispel the rumours you are hearing.

As well as members of the PPG, Fiona and Julia, Horsefair's new management team, will be on hand to answer to your questions and listen to your concerns.

We look forward to seeing you.

Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Please telephone 01295 259484 or 259661.

You can request a home visit if you or the person that you are phoning on behalf of is too ill to attend the practice premises. A clinician will visit patients who cannot attend the surgery due to their medical condition. Those patients who have multiple chronic health conditions, are frail, elderly and who can’t leave the house on a day to day basis. Clinicians cannot carry out a home visit for patients because they don’t have transport.

The receptionist will ask for details of the patient’s whereabouts, telephone contact number and the nature or urgency of the visit. Please give as much information as possible. The clinician may telephone you beforehand.

Home visits are carried out by our Emergency Care Practitioner and our Doctors. We may also use a third party care provider
