It is recommended that a cervical smear be done every three years for all women over the age of 25. You will be contacted automatically by Thames Valley Primary Care Trust and invited to call the surgery to make an appointment
The nurse no longer operates a drop-in Baby Clinic on a Tuesday afternoon for vaccinations. All childhood vaccinations are by appointment only with immediate effect.
The Health Visiting Team will continue to hold their clinic, where parents are able to turn up at the surgery between 1.30 and 3.30pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The team offers health advice regarding general child development, breastfeeding, introducing solids and general health promotion in line with the Healthy Child Programme.
